Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Address ID?

An Address ID is a unique, short code (for example, V454-H358) linked to your account. Instead of sharing a long written address every time, you can share your Address ID, a QR code, or a secure link that opens the details you choose to display.

How is an Address ID different from a regular address?

Your physical address describes a place. Your Address ID identifies you (or your account) and can point to one or more saved locations — home, office, or a preferred public address — depending on your settings.

What is a handler?

A handler is an optional public username, written like @YourName, that can link to your public profile when the feature is enabled. It gives people a memorable way to find your shared address information.

How do I share my address?

From your dashboard, open an address or your sharing settings. You can copy a link, show a QR code, or share your public handler page. Before sharing, review which fields are visible — such as phone number, map coordinates, and landmark details.

Can I control what others see?

Yes. Address ID is built around privacy controls. Public pages and share links only show the information you enable. You can also choose which saved address is used for public sharing.

Is Address ID free?

Core features are available at no cost. Visit our Pricing page for information about current and upcoming plans.

How do I get support?

Sign in to your account and open Support in the dashboard to create a tracked ticket. For general enquiries, email [email protected].

How do I delete my account or data?

Contact us at [email protected] from the email associated with your account. We will verify your request and process it in line with our Privacy Policy.
